asterCRM

Paul Colmer & Associates support and design solutions around open source CRM platforms, namely SUGARCRM a powerful customer database management system and asterCRM a specific   CRM for Asterisk powered call centres.

SugarCRM

SugarCRM’s open development process means continual feedback from customers and users, resulting in higher quality products designed to meet real-world needs.

SugarCRM gives users control. Unlike other CRM systems, you own your data and never have to worry about being locked-in to a service. With Sugar, the customer, not the provider, calls the shots.

SugarCRM is flexible and we can embed SMTP mail servers for e-mail campaigns, GSM gateways for SMS campaigns and VOIP servers. This allows complete customer management and forms the backbone of the unified communication for your company.

asterCRM is an open Source call centre software for asterisk based VoIP system, and has standard CRM functions. It provides a web-based user interface, both agents or managers could finish full call centre function just using a browser. First asterCRM use a daemon script to catch all asterisk events from AMI (asterisk manager interface) and save the data into a database, at the same time the browser use JavaScript to query useful events for the user from the database, (such as ring, dialling, hang-up ...) and show them. When user want to control the call, he could use the browser to send a command to asterisk, same via AMI.
